Pack Leader of The Week

Each week or so we gather together in our Tribal Council and either randomly select or vote for (off) one of the remaining members of our classroom to be the Pack Leader of the Week (P. L. O. T. W.)  The honor and duties of the P. L. O. T. W. include, but are not limited to,  being the line leader, running errands, leading the Pledge of Allegiance, distributing mail and lunch tokens, and getting a cold pop and candy bar.

dr.JPG (56626 bytes)

Congratulations to DR!  The Final Survivor from Meyer Island 3!  He played the game and the year to the best of his ability.  Some of the attributes his classmates noted in the final tribal council that helped him succeed were HONESTY, TRUSTWORTHINESS, FUNNY, CARING, HARD WORKING, MAKING GOOD CHOICES, and TEAMWORK.

PLOTW #  23

dr.JPG (56626 bytes) OR hb.JPG (44328 bytes)

This was the question the castaways needed to solve at the final tribal council.  Both individuals made excellent choices throughout the year to get to this point.  Both DR and HB proved that sticking to their "moral compass" they could navigate through the year by having fun and being successful.    DR won the previous Didgeridoo immunity and chose to take HB with him into the finals, a very fitting choice since she did win numerous immunities throughout the last part of the year.

hb.JPG (44328 bytes)

Congratulations to HB on being the Final Survivor Runner-Up!

PLOTW #  22

zn.JPG (42288 bytes)

A harrowing week as the year winds down.  Unfortunately, a bad decision at recess cost ZN a chance at the final Tribal Council.  Congrats on making it to the final 3!

Oh difficult decisions, this came down to the wire.  AH, the only islander to ever give her hard won immunity necklace away was this week's castaway.  She hung in there quite well, especially since the much of this last quarter she had a cast on her foot, and still was very successful in the immunity challenges.  Congrats AH!

PLOTW #  20

kc.JPG (38498 bytes)

Congrats to KC!  She played a very good game of Survivor.  She had won immunity in a previous challenge, but this week it went to another castaway.  Congrats on having a great year!

PLOTW #  19

tb.JPG (40956 bytes)

TB is this week's Pack Leader.  She was a fierce competitor throughout all of the competitions.  This week's vote went to a tie-breaker which TB came up on the short end of.  Congratulations again!

PLOTW #  18

ls.JPG (55641 bytes)

This week we voted on two Pack Leaders, and LS was the runner-up in the voting.  She had an awesome year.  She was a very (positive) vocal in tribal councils (HINT for future PLOTWs).  Congratulations on being this weeks co-Pack Leader.

PLOTW #  17

crob.JPG (50053 bytes)

This week we voted on two Pack Leaders, and CR was the leader in the voting.  She was a flying under the radar type of player who was a very helpful classmate.  There were times that she stayed in to help classmates to clean their desks and get organized.  Congratulations on being this weeks co-Pack Leader.

Congratulations to A&W.  He is the winner of the honor of being the PLOTW this week.  He was the last stick in the jar due to randomness.

Congratulations to TL.  He was the surprise vote getter for PLOTW this week.

PLOTW # 10

Congratulations to the Brass Monkey Tribe.  They had the best time in the Find the Missing Immunity Idol Challenge.  After escaping the voting by the narrowest of margins recently, MC, the Master of Ceremonies, was elected this week's Pack Leader.  He has the opportunity to lead us into Valentine's Week (and the Social Studies MEAP Test) with his good humor & wit.  Congrats!

PLOTW #  9

This week brought quite a few changes for the castaways.  First, they had the shock of finding out they were no longer in Bone, Carolina, Boo Yah, or Teal tribes.  Second, they were treated to an iMovie introducing them to their new tribes & teammates.  The new tribes are the Pink Cadillacs, the Brass Monkeys, the Orange Crush, and the Purple People Eaters.  Yes, each tribe was matched with a theme song which determined their flag color.  The first vote before the switch however, netted CoS a spot on our billboard as the PLOTW.  Congrats CoS and have a great week as Pack Leader!

PLOTW # 8

A random draw this week made JB the Pack Leader.  Congrats!

PLOTW #  7

Christmas week brought forth a new pack leader, Congrats and HO HO HO, SW!

PLOTW #  6

This week we had a twist to the spelling bee immunity challenge.  Each group member was responsible for correctly spelling the word in sequence with their colleagues.  Immunity was won by Carolina, their 1st this year!  The PLOTW voting went to a tie-breaker based on prior votes, so MC squeaks by this week with by the margin of 1 vote!  Who says your vote doesn't count.  Congrats to the BTexpress!  He'll make a fine Pack Leader this week!

PLOTW #  5

Another random draw determined this week's PLOTW.  ChS was sweating it, but ol' JR gets the nod as this week's Pack Leader.  Congrats!

PLOTW #  4

A random draw for this week's PLOTW yielded TW as our castaway.  The immunity challenge was an "underwater challenge"  in which seven castaways earned immunity.  Congrats to TW.

PLOTW #  3

This week's challenge was a backwards ABC group recital.  Each of the four tribes did very well considering the "surprise" of this challenge and lack of prep time.  The vote this week gave AS the PLOTW title.  Congrats AS and enjoy your week!

PLOTW #  2

Our second week of Meyer Island challenges yielded a spelling bee immunity challenge.  A strong effort by one of our newest islanders A&W brought a runner up for Teal as KC brought home the Immunity Idol to Boo Yah Blue for the second week in a row.  Our castaway this week was CB.  Congrats on being our 2nd PLOTW!

PLOTW # 1

A group immunity challenge of an "8-legged" race came down to Boo Yah Blue & Bone.  A mad rush at the end helped Boo Yah Blue to it's first immunity of the year!  Congrats on the Team work!  The first week of voting also brought us our first castaway!  Congrats JA!
